Amir Fakhry, human rights activist, told Copts United that a reconciliation meeting was held recently in Edmo village, Minya after a number of extremists had tried to attack the church in the village as well as a number of houses that belong to Copts.
Fakhry said that in this meeting they agreed that Copts should pay 22.000 EGP. He added that such meetings offenses the law and never gives a fair trial for those who commit the crimes.
