Khalid Ali, former candidate for the presidency said that the complimentary constitutional declaration only reflects SCAF’s dominance over the country with few powers of the elected President.
Ali added that the declaration gives the military special status, and the president can’t declare war without the approval of the SCAF according to article 53 of it.
He added that the declaration comes only to remove all powers from the elected President and give it to the members of the SCAF who was appointed originally by the former regime.
