How Can We Solve the Coptic Problem?
Those who forget their past they are condemned to repeat it.
First of all, let me ask you this question: Who is keeping President Mubarak in the office?
My answer is: America!
Mubarak is still in the office because he is achieving the US agenda toward Israel. There is no other reason.

Now, How can we solve the Coptic problem?

I suggest these few steps that may help:

1. Prayer (Book of Ester)

2. Our Coptic Church Leadership and our Coptic Congregation Must unite, working TOGETHER toward the same goal.

3. We should defend our rights. Jesus defended the rights of those who were abused (Luke 7:36-50).

4. We should not accept persecution as a promise from God. Persecution is a prophecy not a promise. Persecution is very terrible and bitter. I experienced persecution myself. Those who teach that persecution is a promise from God they teach wrong theology. There is a big difference between that God will reward us if we suffer for His sake and the Will of God for His children. God's Will for His people is not to suffer but to enjoy their life to the full (John 10:10), including their life in the world (1 Timothy 4:4). God created everything for us to enjoy (1 Timothy 6;17). Nothing wrong to enjoy all God's blessings: God's physical blessings (Deuteronomy 28:3-14) as we enjoy God's spiritual blessings (Ephesians 1:3-14).

4. Talk to your Congressman and forward to him all the news you hear about the sufferings of your brothers and sisters in Egypt.

5. Bring the Coptic problem to the attention of the American Administration. If we can add "The Copts" into America's agenda like Israel, then the American Administration will take it seriously and discuss the Coptic problem with Mubarak and the government of Egypt.

6. Organize a Coptic Team that can keep the United Nations updated with all persecution news that is happening to the Copts in Egypt. Sooner or later the United Nations will consider dealing with Egypt regarding the Coptic problem the way they deal with Sudan regarding the Darfur problem.

7. As I do, please share it with American churches, friends, neighbors, co-workers...

Be assured of my prayers for you. Please pray for the orphans and widows who are suffering severe persecution and poverty.

With love from Jesus. God bless you.
