The Diocese of Sydney and its affiliated regions in conjunction with the Youth from the Australian Coptic Movement (ACM) invite you to a prayer vigil which will be held on Friday 19th March 2010 at Martin Place (6.30pm to 9.30pm). The vigil is in the spirit of the upcoming passion week to prepare for the suffering of C...hrist and to remember the modern day martyrdoms that have occured in the name of Christ in Naga Hamadi. We all stand in solidarity with our perescuted brothers and sisters in Egypt. The aim is to send a message everywhere that we are still in mourning and praying for the loss of life until justice is served.
The night will include the following;
-Opening Prayer
-Introduction/Speech
-Hymns by Candlelight
-Powerpoint presentations/video
-Choirs
-prayers
-contemplations
-Shrine & tribute to the Martyrs
-Flowers to be laid in memory of the Martyrs
