A Minya military court sentenced eight Mohamed Morsi supporters to seven-year prison sentences for storming and torching a local council building in Minya governorate in August 2013.
The court also sentenced another defendant in the same case to five years in prison.
The defendants were found guilty of attacking the council building in the town of Deir Mawas in August 2013, following the security forces' deadly dispersal of the pro-Morsi Rabaa and Nahda protest camps in Cairo.
The defendants were arrested in February 2016.
The verdicts can be appealed.
