Egyptian Premier League side Maqassa FC have announced the signing of Uganda midfielder Khalid Aucho for three years. He is coming from Indian club Churchill Brothers FC Goa.
The 26-year-old midfielder was part of the Uganda national team during their participation in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations currently taking place in Egypt.
Uganda national team have been eliminated from the round of 16 after losing to Senegal 1-0 in the knockout stage.
Aucho won the Kenyan Premier League in 2015 when he was playing with Gor Mahia F.C. He played 36 games with the team, scoring four goals.
Maqassa are in 6th place of the Egyptian Premier League teams table with 46 points.
