Egyptian national team have left on a nine-hour flight to Comoros for Monday s scheduled game in the second match in Group G in the qualifiers of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Cameroon.
The Pharaohs started their qualification campaign with a 1-1 draw against Kenya on Thursday at Borg El-Arab stadium in Alexandria in Group G, which includes Comoros and Togo.
Comoros tops Group G with three points after beating Togo 1-0. Egypt and Kenya sit in second place with one point each.
The national team held a morning training session led by coach Hossam El-Badry before leaving to Comoros with players who participated in Kenya s game last night taking part in rehabilitation sessions.
Egypt s striker Ahmed Gomaa was ruled out from the trip due to a knee injury he sustained during the morning trainings.
