Coptic Orthodox Church was led during the transitional period by the Abba Pachomius, the Acting Patriarch, till His Holiness Pope Tawadros was enthroned as the 118th Pope carrying the number 118. To me, Celebrating the mass as well as the official enthronement were like a journey to heaven or like living the first days of the Church when “They all joined together constantly in prayer”. Abba Pachomius could take his people to heaven through his humbleness, love and self-denial.

I remember the day Morsy was announced as the Egyptian president. I cried bitterly just like I did when my father died. For me, it was announcing the end of many beautiful things in Egypt, and the start of new dark days or sophistry stage for ignorance and blood, in which a group of corrupters trade on religion and hide behind it.

It is normal and logical that the President of a state puts the people of his country as top priority in his agenda, giving them the greatest concern. Doing this, he can try to help or sympathize with people of other countries who are suffering somehow. However, Islamists have another point of view that you can understand upon looking closely at the reaction of the President after two great events or incidents: First, the attack on Gaza in Palestine, which is not governed by President Morsy as it has its own elected President. Second, the terrible accident in Assiut, Egypt, in which more than 50 children were killed because of negligence and empty talk of the Islamists who brought only retardation to Egypt. Our President had a very strong reaction concerning the people of Gaza, but not of his people in Egypt.

We're shocked and all our dreams are turned out to nightmares after the death of many school students under the wheels of the train of Assiut. It's no longer enough to condemn or deplore. What happens in Egypt now? We feel that our lives are threatened in every single moment. Before that, our children were murdered in a soccer game while holding the Egyptian flag. Then, they were killed in a school bus holding their books! What kind of negligence is that? Till when no official will be judged for his neglect? Till when our souls will be threatened all the time along with our children, brothers, sisters and friends. Till when our souls will be priceless?

Mr. Hammad, a member of political office suggested that it is not even necessary to congratulate the Pope seeing as it is not Islamic, and does not concern Muslims. During the Mubarak era, the Salafis were considered to be a “fundamentalist” religious group due to the known acts of violence having been committed by the group. Egyptian public prosecutor has issued a decision to block pornographic websites in Egypt which will cost the state about one hundred million EGP. Sheikh Younis Makhion, leader in the Salafi Nour Party, said that such price is reasonable concerning the devastating effects on national security of such pornographic websites. However, this decision didn't give a specific definition of “pornographic websites”. It could be sites that distribute pure sexual materials, +18 music video website, or even scientific websites about human sexual activity. We don't know what kind of websites they are talking about. I wonder: Is Haifaa Wahbi's song “Bos Al Wawa” included in their list of the material that threaten the Egyptian national security!

After a typical day of a full time job, most fathers have their dinner with their families and watch television. Usually, they watch their favorite talk shows or a nice movie before they go to bed.

A jihadi sheikh appeared on Dream 2, the private Egyptian TV channel, calling for destroying the Pyramids and Sphinx with no reaction taken by the president or the government. The news was televised all over the world, but president Morsy has ignored it completely as if he agrees with this jihadi sheikh. I wonder: Are Salafis trying to incite a world war by all means including destroying the Pyramids that is the heritage of all mankind?

The church was thrilled after choosing Pope Tawadros II, as all Copts have felt that it was the choice of the Holy Spirit. Pope Tawadros came with a new vision to serve the Coptic Christians all over the world. He will also have to face many problems of the Coptic Christians in Egypt supported by our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Patriarch in the Coptic Orthodox Church is the successor of our Lord Jesus Christ and His apostles, and he is the greatest father. There are four patriarchs all over the world; the patriarch of Alexandria, the patriarch of Rome, the patriarch of Constantinople and the patriarch of Antioch.

If those who support the civil current in Egypt want to be strong on the Egyptian political scene, they will have to chnage their way a little bit. They have to work on the ground with the poor like those who belong to the Islamic current. However the Islamic current trade on relgion and incite sectarian incidents as well, civil current can work on the ground to prove they are not the enimies of God, as the Islamic current claim. Simple man in the street tends to be moderate concerning religion while the Islamists are but extremists, which may be useful for the civil current in the future.

No one can deny that the new Pope for the Coptic Orthodox Church will take office as head of his church under very difficult and unprecedented circumstances. This comes at the time Muslim Brotherhood and Salafis have reached power and are trying to impose an Islamic constitution and the Islamic Sharia. Furthermore, they prosecute the religious minorities by all means, and sometimes they attack their houses of worship as well as their property, and force them to leave their homes.

Each time I surf the internet seeking the latest Coptic news, I feel sad as I read about many Coptic movements and coalitions, as well as Coptic activists who issue many statements. I wonder: why do we have all those Coptic activists? And why couldn't they provide solutions for our problems as Copts?

Is Sinai going to be part of Gaza or merely Gaza becomes part of Egypt? When President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton few months ago expressed their support to Muslim Brotherhood –MB- and Morsy as first non military elected presided I failed to understand how come USA gives up on their spoiled child Israel and back up Muslim Brotherhood the close allied group to Hamas the enemy number 1 of Israel! The picture was still missing parts to be complete; it might still be missing parts but the revealed parts now make some sense!
