I send this message of love to Field Marshal Abdel Fattah al-Sisi who has saved Egypt adn hopefully will be Egypt's next president. Dear Sir, you have saved Egypt from the worst fascist regimes in the world, which would have converted Egypt to another Afghanistan or Iran. Terrorist groups that carry out attacks against Egypt's police and army would have settled in Sinai to train its elements. It would have taken one more year to replace the Egyptian army with elements from al-Qaeda. Furthermore, leaders of the terrorist groups would have taken offices of Interior Minister, director of intelligence and director of national security.
However Hamdeen Sabahi is a patriot man who played an important role in overthrowing the regime of the Muslim Brotherhood, he can’t be the upcoming president of Egypt. Such office is in bad need for a skillful politician, no less than a former minister or governor. Yet, Sabahi was no more than a member of the parliament. I see Sabahi as a governor of Sinai under the upcoming president Abdul Fatah al-Sisi.
The Egyptian people are facing great challenge and confrontation with the forces of darkness; I mean the Muslim Brotherhood and its supporters including the United States of America and some European countries. Turkey decided to misuse the situation in Egypt to restore the Islamic caliphate, while Qatar and Hamas decided to use Egypt and make the best out of the chaos in Egypt.
Yes a thousand times to protest law despite the relentless campaign against it by some so-called political activists who became a real burden for the Egyptian revolution. Some of those activists were used by the Muslim Brotherhood and other international organizations to create some mess in Egypt. Thus, the state should not give them great concern or listen to them. One of those enemies of the revolution is the founder of the April 6 Movement, Eng. Ahmed Maher. Yet, he is so different form many pure young people who joined his movement and resisted the regime of the Muslim Brotherhood and its constitution suffering a lot for that.
I have a proposal for all who love Egypt, especially the Copts. As the state is taking forever to repair and rebuild the demolished and burned churches and properties of the Copts, why don’t we donate for their restoration?
Supporters of the revolution of June 30 realize how many people and forces hate it and are willing to destroy it at any time. Those enemies are both inside and outside Egypt.
The revolution of January 25th came to achieve several goals including social justice. However, more than two years passed since the revolution and one year since president Morsy took office, none of these goals was achieved. On the contrary, things only are getting worse. Many factories and companies are closing, thanks to the policies of the Muslim Brotherhood, applied literally by Dr. Morsy, as well as the bloody fatwas of fanatics calling arts and antiquities “haram stuff”. Moreover, they proudly call the liberals and Christians as infidels. I’d like to concentrate in this article on social justice as unrealized goal of the Egyptian revolution.
Muslims of al-Wasty have been hostile to the Copts since Rana H. Kamal, a Muslim girl, has disappeared two months ago. Indeed I sympathize with her family as well as any family that loses a child, however, in this case, there were tons of rumors, claims and accusations that were taken for granted by many people as facts including church implication in her disappearance.
Every day we find more evidence that the Muslim Brotherhood has cooperated with Hamas to attack Egyptian police stations and prisons on January 28, 2011, in which many leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood were set free including president Mohammed Morsy. Furthermore, more evidence is found that they have cooperated to kill the demonstrators in what’s called “Camel Battle”. Many people have a strong intuition that the MB with Hamas has committed such horrible crimes.
I'm really sad for what happens in Egypt, as I'm against all kinds of violence and attacking public and private properties, which are apparently financed and restored by the taxes we pay. I'm also against cutting railways that had its bad impact mostly on the simple people.
I have disagreed with many people who said that the Egyptians are not yet ready for democracy. I thought that Egypt can repeat the experience of South Africa, but I was mistaken.
The Egyptian revolution has came to demand justice and equality among all all Egyptians. However, what happens now aims to humiliate and displace the Coptic Christians. For no good reason, Coptic churches and properties are attacked in the same manner, and most probably by the same people. However, the state doesn't take an action, and all this could have changed if it had.
People in Egypt are extremely suffering and lacking security, but the president and the Muslim Brotherhood are giving the greatest concern to hand Egypt over to the Muslim Brotherhood group.
President Mohammed Morsy has given many promises that had never been kept. He promised to solve many problems during his first 100 days, but things are getting even worse! Garbage is all over Egypt, gas is rarely found, bread is too bad, security has many issues to the extent that the governor of Kafr el-Sheik was robbed under duress! Moreover, Dr. Morsy has promised to take consensual decisions, but he has never done so even upon drafting the constitution of Egypt.
Coptic Orthodox Church was led during the transitional period by the Abba Pachomius, the Acting Patriarch, till His Holiness Pope Tawadros was enthroned as the 118th Pope carrying the number 118. To me, Celebrating the mass as well as the official enthronement were like a journey to heaven or like living the first days of the Church when “They all joined together constantly in prayer”. Abba Pachomius could take his people to heaven through his humbleness, love and self-denial.
It is normal and logical that the President of a state puts the people of his country as top priority in his agenda, giving them the greatest concern. Doing this, he can try to help or sympathize with people of other countries who are suffering somehow. However, Islamists have another point of view that you can understand upon looking closely at the reaction of the President after two great events or incidents: First, the attack on Gaza in Palestine, which is not governed by President Morsy as it has its own elected President. Second, the terrible accident in Assiut, Egypt, in which more than 50 children were killed because of negligence and empty talk of the Islamists who brought only retardation to Egypt. Our President had a very strong reaction concerning the people of Gaza, but not of his people in Egypt.
No body is going to pay you like those who pay for kidnapping the minor Coptic girls!
Everybody in Egypt was surprised and felt angry after all defendants in camel battle were acquitted
I can assure you that the revolution has reached all kinds of failures. It allowed religious currents in power, which proved to be even worse than the former regime concerning suppression, marginalization of opponents calling them “infidels”.
I don't find any good reasons that Salafis may hate the Coptic Christians and the Church that much
Revolution of January 25 came to achieve 3 main demands, which are: better subsidized bread, freedom, and social justice. There were few other related demands such as the elimination of corruption, bribery and nepotism as well as trading of power and put an end to the domination of one political party. That's why hundreds of pure patriot young people have sacrificed their lives to give Egypt as well as all Egyptians a better life. Now we ask: Has the revolution succeeded?
