Dr. Ikram Lamei, head of the Egyptian Evangelical Synod, advocated the Coptic Quota saying that Affirmative Action was applied in Europe after the World War II for the benefit of women who were persecuted then.

Lamei demanded the government to train the people to accept the others including those of different color, religion and race, which helps all citizens to participate in developing their country.
