CAIRO, Jan 4 (Aswat Masriya) Mahmoud Badr, the founder of Tamarod, has said that members of the Muslim Brotherhood have tried to raid his residence in the Shebeen al-Qanater neighborhood in Qalyubia.
Badr added on Tamarod’s official Facebook page that his neighbors clashed with the Brotherhood members, leading to injuries.
No official comment was released on the incident.
Badr was attacked last September and his personal car was stolen.
Tamarod organized mass demonstrations earlier this year, leading to the ouster of Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi who hailed from the Brotherhood.
