I read a lot of campaigns everyday that call for supporting the constitution from all demographics in society. As it is right for people to support the constitution, it is also right for people to vote against it. If we prevented people from expressing their opinion frankly, it means we may fall back into the fascist regime.
In a similar attack to bombing the Saints Church in Alexandria on New Year's Eve 2011, Mansoura Security Directorate was bombed causing 17 people to lose their lives and about 200 were wounded. In the Saints Church, 25 were killed, including children, and more than 70 were wounded. Supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood spread rumors that this Minister was responsible for destroying his ministry, breaking into prisons and setting 95 police stations on fire! Yet, he could find out the terrorists and announced their names in a press conference. Furthermore, people felt safe under his leadership.
Just like every year, the congregation of the Saints Church in Alexandria went to attend the church at the last day of 2010 in order to receive the new year while praying inside the house of God hoping for a good year. As they were praying minutes after midnight, a massive explosion was heard that shook the building and shattered pieces of glass on their heads. People started to scream, and the bloods were everywhere. Suddenly, the priest said calmly: “Don’t feel afraid”. I believe this was the shortest and greatest sermon delivered by him ever. This is the most important message they needed to hear at that moment.
I do not support reconciliation with a terrorist group like the Muslim Brotherhood, especially as it proved it is willing to destroy the homeland for some personal benefits. Furthermore, I am not Jesus Christ to say: "whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also."
Four years have passed since Eng. Adly Abadir, founder of Copts United organization has departed. Yet, the Copts should be united in mourning for him as we lost such great man and leader. This honest man was great supporter for the Coptic issue and a real humanitarian as well. He was not only a human rights activist, but devoted his time and money to help the Coptic issues and rights through many ways including Copts United website.
Sunday 29th December 2013 the very last Sunday of year 2013, tomorrow Monday the very last one of year 2013 as well and my last article of the year and I know it’s celebration times so I’ll keep it as short as possible wishing you all friends, companions and enemies all your dreams come true in the new coming year 2014! I know many of us if not all look at the year’s worst events and judge it as bad year. We got the bad habit to look at the 1/2 way full cup or glass from the top we see it always empty overlooking its full bottom!
In a few days we will be in the new year and in the Eastern Orthodox Christmas. In this new year we should keep our hope for a better life. Throughout all the difficulties that faced Egyptians all over the world, Jesus gave us hope with His birth. He gave us hope not only for a better life, but also for the eternal life.
Finally, after shedding the blood of too many innocent people, the Muslim Brotherhood was named a terrorist group by Egypt’s government. Millions of Egyptians felt quite comfortable to hear such decision that healed their hearts after they extremely suffered by this bloody group.
On December 20, 2013, the Muslim Brotherhood held conference in the Press Club in Vienna under the title “The persecution of Christians in Egypt”. I attended the conference as I was anxious to hear about the persecuted Copts from the Muslim Brotherhood. However, they ignored the Copts and could only attack Gen. Abdul Fatah al-Sisi, the Military Council, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Pope Tawadros II. They denounced what they call the military coup claiming that the Coptic Christians are supporting Mohamed Morsy and the Muslim Brotherhood against this coup!
It may not be the best constitution ever, but it’s indeed a good one and is one step on the right path. This constitution criminalized discrimination for the first time, and considered torture as a no statute of limitations crime. Under the new constitution, the state is committed to spend fixed proportions on education and scientific research, the prime minister is given more powers and two thirds of the parliament have the right to withdraw confidence from the President. Furthermore, women and the poor are also given more rights which is great.
The billionaires Safwan Thabet, owner of Johania Food Industries, and Mohamed Momen, owner of Momen Food Courts, are also well-known leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood. They financially support the banned group and pay them a lot of money to cause huge destruction to Egypt and kill many Egyptians including Muslims and Christians.
He was in prison on what charges I do not recall but when I tried to trace it back on Google I only got the last charges after 30th of June 2013 and obviously written by supporters of Ikhwan or Muslim Brotherhood -MB for short- who tried to ignore his prior charges like if Khirat El Shater went to prison for the first time due to this revolution! But lies soon uncover their agly faces as lies!
Egypt is facing now a very severe enemy. Enemy which is hard to see and hard to deal with it. Egypt Now is facing a real terrorism. Egypt is facing also a new kind of terrorism. It didn’t witness it long time ago. There is no doubt that many foreign countries are interfering in Egypt now. There are many countries and groups supporting the militant groups in Sinai and many other districts in Egypt.
By the end of the year 2013, the Muslim Brotherhood was removed from power. Furthermore, a great leader appeared on the political platform and got many fans among the Egyptian; I mean Egypt’s defense minister Gen. Abdul Fatah al-Sisi. This man opposed not only the Muslim Brotherhood and many terrorist organizations, but also the American CIA that supported them. He was apparently supported by some sort of a divine power to succeed.
Religions have always been subject to criticism, but our honorable judges in Egypt and their rules are not! The Coptic Christians are being wronged and oppressed, even by the judiciaries. For example, Only Christians were condemned by the judiciary in Khosous sectarian incidents, where 6 Christians and one Muslim man were killed. In Khoshh sectarian incidents (1998/1999), 22 Christians were killed, but no body has been condemned. Furthermore, Chief Judge Mohamed Afifi blamed 3 Coptic priests for inciting the sectarian incidents demanding the late Pope Shenouda III to punish them!
During a soft skills course, the trainer asked his trainees to save their balloons just for one minute. Instead, each of them tried to blow up the balloons of the others. Consequently, they got their balloons blown up except for one who could save his as didn’t try to blow up the other’s balloons.
Amending Egypt's constitution has raised too many disputes, which were likely to happen with the existence of so many American agents in the fifty-members committee to amend the 2012 constitution, which included all spectra of the Egyptian society save the professors of constitutional law! There was doctors, artists, poets, directors, political activists and Islamists. I wonder how come they didn't invite the Egyptian folk singer Shaban Abdul Rahiem to this committee in order to accomplish their mission to make the committee fail and produce a non-consensual constitution in order to break down the army led road map.
My Eternal loss every week as a new article is due on which subject to be this week, I explained over the past 2-3 weeks why I accuse the hidden hands of UK-intelligence and I’ll keep them suspects until proven Guilty or Innocent, but I rest my case to talk on another urgent matter that is the main issue in everyday’s life of Egypt, the new to be constitution and the iteration of one of the main points the Civilian Government! Now, I’m not a lawyer, neither a languages expert, specially the Arabic Language; I spent my life learning Languages not studying the deep art of the words in a language that would change the meaning 180 degrees if you put an adjective or a latter before the other.
There is a great debate nowadays about what should come first, the Parliamentary elections or the Presidential elections. Some believe that the Presidential elections should come first because that will help the country have stability and move forward. But the problem with that suggestion that it is against the road map settled on the 30th of June, which planned the parliament elections to come first.
In his article in Shorouk newspaper on December 7, Dr. Ebrahim Esawy invited supporters of January 25 revolution who supported the “military coup” to awaken their consciousness and stop doing so. They are invited to stop supporting the dictatorship of the military against the democracy and citizenship. Practically, this should lead to the idea that the state of democracy and citizenship is apparently that one of the Muslim Brotherhood.
At the end of each year, every body has many wishes for himself and his country as well. However, under the current difficult circumstances in Egypt, we should do more than wishing. We have to work hard and exert effort. Yet, I want to share many wishes with you. At the end of 2013, the great Mandela departed after he had given an example for forgiveness and justice. In this spirit, we should announce the investigation results in all incidents of the last year and hold urgent trials. Innocent people should live in peace and spread love among people.

Those euphoric scenes that beamed out of Tahrir Square into our homes three years ago as President Mubarak was forced to step down are something from a different age.
