Feminism is a collection of movements and ideologies aimed at establishing, and defending equal political, economic, cultural, and social rights for women. This includes seeking to establish equal opportunities for women in education and employment. A feminist advocates or supports the rights and equality of women.
Generally speaking, I don’t support feminism but I believe that our patriarchal society is but a male-dominated society emerging from some of the misconceptions that women also support, such as a man should pay for the dinner instead of a woman and he should give up his chair for women in the public transportation.
Some people may also claim that women shouldn’t give account for their nonsense; I would tell them that women include your mother who gave birth to you and taught you everything should be respected better than this.
Among those women, you may find the holy virgin Mary as well as the mother of Moses. Also, Khadija who supported Prophet Mohamed in his call by all means. Among those women you may find mothers of Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Guevara. I remember here a woman saying: “I'm woman at home and man at the field“
