Najla Ahwani, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, revealed plans for economic development in Egypt, especially in Upper Egypt.
Beneficiaries of the training programs reached 2135 youth.
The new government will use public and private investment to create jobs for the millions who enter the workforce every year and will make containing inflation its top priority, the minister said.
She added that “Call” initiative, presented by the ministry and the UN, is working on developing the skills and offering many services to the poor in Upper Egypt.
This came during the second annual conference of the initiative, which is currently being held in the governorate of Qena, with the participation of more than 300 participants, including many officials and NGOs.
