During the enthronement ceremony of the new bishops, Pope Tawadros II announced St. Mary Cathedral in Zeitoun will be a papal residence.
He added that this is the reason the cathedral was chosen to hold the new ordinations for Coptic bishops.
Pope said that the Greek parliament acknowledged the Coptic Church and therefore the Church ordained a bishop to minister in Greece.
