10 Egyptians arrested in Libya to be deported back home in two days
Ten Egyptian nationals will be deported back home from restive northern Libya within coming two days, after being investigated since May 10 by a group of Libyan Islamists who control over Misrata, the group’s spokesperson Mohamed al-Ghasry told Youm7 Tuesday.
The Egyptians, who are originally from Upper Egypt’s Minya, have been arrested in a military zone near the Libyan man-made Lake on May 10, the spokesperson added.
Egypt’s FM discusses regional issues with German National Security Advisor
Egyptian Foreign minister Sameh Shoukry will meet Tuesday with German National Security Advisor Mr. Christoph Heusge, who is visiting Cairo, to discuss the bilateral relations between both countries, and the international and regional issues of the mutual concerns, particularly the Syrian and Libyan crises.
Parliament writes final report on state’s FY 2016/2017 budget
A Parliamentary committee, tasked to review the state’s general budget of 2016/2017 fiscal year, is writing the final report on the budget which will be discussed at the general assembly of the parliament next Sunday, Youm7 reported the Chairperson deputy of thecommitte Yasser Amr Shiba Tuesday.
Administrative Jurisdiction unauthorized to consider cases against Red Sea Islands- expert
The Administrative Jurisdiction is not authorized to consider the lawsuits filed to annul a deal between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, per which Cairo announced Saudi sovereignty on two disputed islands of Tiran and Sanafir in the Red Sea, said former dean of Faculty of Law at Cairo University Mahmoud Kebeish.
A number of lawyers and political activities have filed 14 lawsuits against the Egyptian government, saying that handing down of the two islands contradicts with 2014 Constitution.
