Police gave Copts in Amiriyah the option to reconcile with assailants who attacked them and destroyed their homes or go to prison.
Police accused 6 Copts and 7 Muslims of inciting violence in the village.
This came after Abba Pachomius asked the Copts to refuse customary reconciliation sessions and to empower the law.
It’s worth mentioning that two Coptic brothers were prevented from entering their home at the service building of the church, before they were accused by police of inciting violence and holding prayers without permission!
