Matrouh province prepares for the visit of Coptic Patriarch, Pope Tawadros II scheduled to be held on Wednesday to mark the 50th memory of Saint Mary Church’s establishment, Youm7 reported.
A number of administrative and ecclesiastical officials will receive the Coptic spiritual leader before the city entrance with a march entitled “love and tolerance”.
Matrouh Governor Alaa Abu-Zeid is scheduled to host the Coptic pope in his office in the presence of executive and popular leaders.
Pope Tawadros will hold his weekly sermon on Wednesday from Matrouh St. Mary Church and a press conference with the governor on Thursday.
