A total of 32 Egyptian fishermen have called up on authorities to help them return home after their Saudi sponsors allegedly abused some of them, Youm7 reported from a video.
The fishermen went to work for a sponsor in Saudi Arabia, but on arrival, they found the fishing boats unsuitable for work.
“We stayed 45 days without fishing, and participated in maintenance of the boats without being paid,” said Mostafa el-Gammal, one of the fishermen who spoke in the video.
He said that their sponsor refuse to let them return to their home country, and treat them badly.
