President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi held a meeting with the cabinet on Sunday, discussing the government’s efforts of combating the corruption of the administrative bodies and the government’s latest economic decisions, particularly the flotation of the Egyptian currency, Presidential Spokesperson Alaa youssef said in a statement on Sunday.

The meeting also tackled the government’s efforts to get rid of the parallel market and the High Investment Council’s recent decisions that have been taken a week ago, the statement added.
President also affirmed that all basic goods should be provided to all people with reasonable prices, noting that the Ministry of Supply should intensify its efforts to prevent merchant’s monopoly, the statement continued.
