Bishop of Ain Shams ordains 39 new deacons

Abba Hermena, General Bishop of the Churches of Ain Shams, ordained 39 new deacons at St. George Church in Ain Shams East.

3 deacons were ordained at the rank of assistant deacon, 3 at the rank of reader, and 33 as chanters.

This week brought several surprising events and surprising reactions as well. The government in Egypt decided to raise prices of fuel which increased the already increasing prices in Egyptian markets.
