Security forces diffused a bomb near St. George Church in Minya after unknown person has left it in a bag.
Father Bemwa Gaber, priest of the church, said that the church was full of people and the bomb would have hurt hundreds of people if it exploded.
The priest added that the church has called for years to build a wall around the building to protect it, but the government has refused to give the due permissions though the congregation is praying in the open.
