Qena Diocese denied rumors about canceling the celebrations of St. George monastery because of bad weather.
Father Amonious Fares, deputy of the diocese, said that the celebration will continue till Wednesday unless it receives official request to stop the celebrations.
It’s worth mentioning that thousands of Copts celebrate the foundation of the first church of St. George from November 1st to 16th in the presence of Abba Sherobim, Bishop of Qena.
