A newly ratified anti-FGM law will punish fathers who take their daughters to the doctor to undergo the illegal practice will sentenced to 15 years in prison, stated Minister of Health Ahmed Emad el-Din.
The minister said in his TV statements that ratifying the law “was a dream since a long period.”
