For first time in 30 years, the census conducted by the Central Agency for public mobilization and Statistics will include a field for religion.
Abu Bakr Gendy, head of the Central Agency for public mobilization and Statistics, said that the choice of religion in the census will be optional according to the international norms in the census operations.
