It’s not about offering condolences

I do not know if the president will refuse to meet the families of the martyrs until he names the terrorists who carried out the attacks against the Coptic churches on Palm Sunday. However, he may name directors of security and senior officials on charges of complicity by negligence. The truth is that the terrorists would have never succeeded without such negligence and failure. I also remember here the hero of police forces who saved hundreds of Egyptians by sacrificing his blood, namely officer Emad RAkaiby.

Couple of hours before the attacks, I was wondering: why police don’t secure Coptic churches properly? Don’t they know that terrorists have been considering Christian feasts a season for their attacks? The answer to my questions was the police are failure just like the regime is. I even think that the attack in Alexandria would have succeeded if the Pope was not in the church.

There is no place for tears and complains. The injured people are suffering, but the police proved we will continue to suffer with too much failure.

Let’s accuse the Minister of interiors of negligence and not preventing the murder just like demonstrators called to judge Mubarak. Police forces securing churches don’t do their job and their leaders should be charged with stupidity above all.

Let’s continue to mourn during our feasts and may glory be with the interior ministry with the failures staying in their offices while Egypt is mourning its children. The martyrs are comforted and may their families have condolences, but we shall still suffer as we don’t learn from the lesson and realize that all Egyptians have the right to be secured, especially while worshipping.

Once again, I salute the souls of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect Egyptian citizens, but they are an exception of a looser system. Unfortunately, this is how we react to such crises, but I’m still happy for the martyrs who got rid of their suffering and won the kingdom of heaven.
