CAIRO - Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf and Foreign Minister Nabil el-Arabi will visit Ethiopia in May, the first official Egyptian visit to the African country since the revolution.
Their delegation will include a number of technical ministers in the Government, including the ministers of irrigation, electricity, and trade and industry, in order to boost ties and resolve the Nile water disputes, as well as discussing the overall situation on the African continent.
"The ties between the two countries are entering a new phase, in the wake of the recent revolution, which was praised by Ethiopian diplomacy," says Ethiopian Ambassador in Cairo Mahmoud Degheder.
