HG Bishop Makarios of Minya and Abu Qurqas honored 600 women who learned how to read and write to get rid of illiteracy.
The women, Copts and Muslims, joined 40 classes in 28 villages in cooperation between the Diocese and the General Authority for Combating Illiteracy and Adult Education in Minya Governorate.
