President Abdel Fattah El Sisi hoped that the new year would bring stability, peace, and prosperity to Egypt and the whole world.
"I greet all Egyptians and the whole world on the occasion of the new year, and I wish a new year full of stability, prosperity and peace," Sisi said on his official social media pages on Tuesday.
