Qatar for a long time and almost since year 2000 tries to support what its called new middle east movements for Democracy, although the real support was for the religious group in especially in Egypt, Libya and Syria.
Lately, there is news that Qatar and the gulf countries along with Egypt started new negotiations round trying to reestablish their relationship with Qatar. The Emirate and Egypt confirmed that there was a negotiation and they are trying to reach an agreement.
There is no doubt that this negotiation started now for 2 main reasons in my opinion, the first reason is because Trump is close to leaving the white house and Gulf countries think that Biden will not be involved in this trouble at least for the first 2 years of being in the office.
The second reason in my opinion is that most Gulf countries are now adopting a peace agreement with Israel and They believe that its better if all arab countries are united in the policies if they will deal with Israel later.
In conclusion, I think that Qatar might review its policy in the short term but in the long term Qatar will always support the religious group especially that Biden most probably will like to encourage these groups to play political rule as president Obama did
