Father Abdel Masih, a monk of St. Makarios the Alexandrian monastery said that they knew about forces of the army and police moving from the Security Directorate of Fayoum to demolish the buildings of the monastery.
Abdel Masih said it is not the right time for the army to demolish the buildings of the monastery and take into account the feelings of grief of the church.
