Trier is a historic city in west central Germany, just six miles from the Luxembourg border and 120 miles SW of Frankfurt.
It’s worth mentioning that Trier Cathedral in Germany was the place where Pope Athanasius of Alexandria (328 – 373 AD) was exiled. And the Coptic church has an altar in that cathedral.
