Refaat Fekry, Chairman of the Committee of Information and Publishing at the Evangelical Synod, said that the Synod will discuss the ordination of women as priest next May.
He explained that such controversial issue comes to the surface as the community is demanding many rights for women, and the church has to make a decision to that topic.
He added that the idea is not acceptable by many people as Christ hasn't chosen any women among his disciples and that our community is not ready to see women in that rank.
