Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark See, sent a delegation of Bishops and priests to offer condolences in the death of Hisham Barakat, the General Attorney.Church Media Center, announced in a statement that the delegation comprised of Abba Markos, Bishop of Shubra, Abba Daniel, Bishop of Already, Abba Theodosius, Bishop of the center of Giza, and a number of priests.
It is worth mentioning that Coptic Orthodox Church has issued a statement to offer its sincere condolences in the Egyptian General Attorney, Hisham Barakat, stressing that it stands with all national forces in defense of the prestige and integrity of the state, calling for global peace forces to take a firm stand against international extremism and terrorism.
