The New Coptic Bishops to be ordained on November 11

The Coptic Orthodox Church decided to ordain the new bishops next week in the monastery of St. Bishoy in Wadil Natroun instead of holding them in St. Mary church in Zaitoun.

Abba Raphael, General Secretary of the Holy Synod, said that Pope Tawadros decided to hold the ordination ceremony at the papal headquarter in the monastery of St. Bishoy.
 
The 7 new bishops that will be ordained including monk Bijoul Mahrouki, the dean of the seminary in Deir Muharraq was chosen to be the bishop and head of the monastery. Father Giovanni Ava Chinote, the monk at the monastery of Anba Shenouda in Milan, will be the bishop of churches in Central Europe. Father Antonio Ava Chinote is the new bishop of Milan. Father Seraphim the Serian is the new Bishop of Ohio, Michigan and Indiana, in the United States of America.
 
On the other hand, Abba Karas, the papal representative of North America, will be inaugurated as bishops of the churches of Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware in the United States, and Abba Angelos will be inaugurated as Bishop of London. Abba Mark, will be inaugurated as bishop of France.
