The weekly sermon 28 Jan 2015: The Sweetness of Praying the Psalms
Psalms are one of the Books of the Bible that has a special consideration.
The fathers of the church considered this book as a connection between the Holy Bible and the Holy church.
The Book of Psalms is the bond that attaches between the Holy bible with all its books and the Church with all its history.
St. David the prophet wrote about a half of this book of Psalms; David is a considered person in the Old Testament.
Other persons wrote another half of the book; they were different for some used to sing and other used to chant; they were groups and individuals.
Actually, the book of Psalms presents and explains the whole life of the man including weakness and strength.
The life of anyone of us includes stages of weakness, strength, success, failure, joy, and sadness.
All these kinds of humane feelings are mentioned in the Book of Psalms.
This is the reason that makes the church reads it daily.
