Today is the anniversary of of April 6 movement. This movement that brought much hope to change in the Egyptian reality. However, its very first activities were covered with blood of those who participated in the demonstrations in Mahala al-Kubra. At that time, many people asked: is the movement playing on the suffering and needs of the Egyptian people or not? Time passed and many questions about the movement were answered and the rest are still waiting for the answers.

Egyptian history will not forgive the Supreme Council of the armed forces headed by Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi and his deputy Lieutenant General Sami Annan, since they handed the former president and hero of the wars Hosni Mubarak to a group of traitors who don't seek the good of this nation. Those traitors decided to take revenge of him and his glorious history and to judge him on the crimes of the Supreme Council of Armed Forces. Mubarak was accused of killing the demonstrators and other fake accusations that members of the Supreme Council and many other witnesses testified he hasn't committed.

I’m totally confused but in England –UK- the church here celebrates Easter, “Jesus is Risen indeed he is risen” I know for sure in Egypt, Greece, and many countries in the world, Orthodox or Catholic, they do celebrate today Palm Sunday! So Jesus is still very much alive and passion week starts Tomorrow, but it is kind of difficult to be different than the people around you I do not intend to change my believes to please others and this is my problem, deep inside me I know it is not yet the time to celebrate but I can only ask why those differences Almighty God is ONE, we all praise Jesus Christ our saviour who died for me and you to clear your sins! He was crucified just ONCE just like his birth he was born just ONCE, but the majority of people celebrates it on 25th December in Egypt Copts Orthodox celebrates it on 7th January!

Resurrection is a deep word that we can contemplate with. While we are getting closer to Easter, we should seize the opportunity to think deeply upon the meaning of resurrection. In fact, the word "resurrection" gives us the hope for a better life. Imagine one day you are thinking about your fate after death, and you said to yourself, "There is no hope for me as long as I will die and this is my end." It must be so depressing when you have this feeling. One day one of my friends asked me how people will live in the eternal life. Will they feel bored after awhile? At this time, I told her that you are thinking this way because your mind is limited. You are measuring life in heaven with the same standard of your life on earth.

We have to work in order to achieve our dreams. Imagine being diving in a deep sea and you have to go up as soon as possible before you run out of oxygen. You can see the sunlight from afar. Yet, you don't have enough time. You should work as hard as you can in order to save your life. This is how you should work in your life. If you don't work hard in order to achieve your goals, you will die before you can see them in your reality. Therefore, I invite you to work harder and harder to break despair barrier and turn your dreams into reality.

Copts of Galaa village in Samalout, Minya, claimed their right in rebuilding their demolished church that was built more than 40 years ago. Yet, the extremists of their village refused such repairing and even stoned houses of the Copts. Furthermore, police have failed to convince those fanatics to accept repairing the church by all means. After negotiations with the police, the fanatics imposed unacceptable conditions to allow the repairing including never to allow repairing the church once again in case it is demolished for any reason. Thus, the repairing was adjourned sine die.

During the economic conference in Egypt, an African man appeared in strange costumes which provoked many Egyptians to make fun of him on Facebook and other social networking sites. However, I believe we, the Egyptians, deserve much mockery as we abandoned our customs and national dresses long time ago. In our streets, we can only find dresses from Gulf countries and even Spain, but not the original Egyptian costumes! Our beautiful colorful dresses and head covers have disappeared. Jalabiya can rarely be found in our towns and cities.

With Easter approaching, Christians all over the world think about taking a pilgrims trip to visit the holy city of Jerusalem and be blessed by places where Christ was born and lived. This religious tradition started 2000 years ago and is applied by all Christians except by the Copts.

Sharm El Sheikh - Prince Saud al-Faisal CONFIRMED Confirmed Prince Saud al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Russia is part of the suffering of the Syrian people, pointing out that Russia proposes a peaceful solution despite the continued arming of the Syrian regime. He said al-Faisal, in his speech at the conclusion of the activities of the Arab Summit 26, which kicked off in Sharm El Sheikh Yesterday; the Syrian regime has lost its legitimacy!!! In this issue I would like to ask him on which basis he becomes the judge of legitimacy giving it to people and taking it off other people? Why the Yemen regime that fled the country is still the legitimate one getting all support from political to strategic and even force, air strikes, and fights!

I would like to refresh your mind on the tragedy that took place in Afghanistan recently. A woman expressed her opinion, which really should be her right, through burning pages from the Koran. This poor woman was beaten, thrown from a roof, run over by a car, and then burned at a stake. Under what circumstances would this ever be acceptable? Where is the teaching of torture and burning, and all the heinous things that happened to her? This story makes me so upset, and honestly, I believe that justice needs to be served. Where are the perpetrators? What will happen to them? I don't think prison would be enough.

Many times did we hear recently about a bomb that exploded to kill a terrorist? Yet, I wonder: shall we gloat in those terrorist who destroyed themselves when they decided to destroy us. Such explosion hasn’t been achieved by the smart security agencies or the hard working of somebody. It was rather achieved by the very few experience of those terrorists. They are either idiots or had bad luck applying their evil scheme.

The extremists in Egypt have demonstrated against building churches claiming they have no permits or even that the new building violates the current permission. However, they decided to take their bullying to the next level by imposing their extremism on the police. This happened in the account of St. Mary Church in Galaa village, Minya. The police asked the priest of the new church to give the extremists some time before they accept building the new church in their village! Later, the police brought the humiliating conditions of the Salafists to build that church including their supervision on the building. Here, the sheikh of the village and some extremists are much more powerful than the government.

The monastery of Wadi Rayan lies in the desert of Fayoum, and was one of the most famous monastic gatherings in Egyptian in the fourth century. It was inhabited until the end of the tenth century. For different reasons, the monks left it until Father Matta el-Miskin restored the monastic life there in 1960.

On March 15, 2015, the international political and economic communities announced their support and recognition to president Abdul Fattah al-Sisi. These communities used to consider the Egyptian revolution in June 30 a military coup. Now, they know that it’s a pure revolution against terrorists occupying the presidential palace and working against their own nation. This certification and accreditation of the international community and all the countries that used to name our revolution a military coup. Yet, with the great patriotism and work of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi who implemented dozens of projects including infrastructure work and the giant international project of the new Suez Canal. I start today’s article wishing again each and every mother a happy Mother’s Day this was in England –UK- and most of European countries the 2nd Sunday in Mars –this year the 15th of Mars- and happens to be in Egypt on 21st of Mars every year I have no recollection when Americans honour the woman of every family that when she’s dead her children become orphans! True when the father in any family dies too his children become orphans as well, but how many child where denied by their fathers? They could never be denied by their mother! Mothers are so special that even the land you are born in it becomes your “Mother Land or Mother Country”! So to this special woman called Mother I offer my best wishes and respects.

Ever wonder how much the President of each country makes? If you knew their salary, do you think your opinion of them would change? An article was recently released outlining the top salaries of prime ministers and presidents across the globe. No big surprise, Sisi did not make it. But the numbers that were revealed, however, were somewhat shocking, and not in a bad way. The US had the second highest pay rate for Obama, Stephen Harper of Canada coming in third. Who had the first? Singapore! Surprising right? I didn't see that coming. The reason I am mentioning salaries is because how do you quantify how much a leader should make? America's Obama makes $400,000 USD a year. When you think about it, it's not that much. Surgeons make up to $700,000 in the West. If money is not that motivating factor, than what pushes our leaders to do the best they can? When you think about Sisi, and all the accomplishments he's made, and all the work his group has put in to trying to restructure Egypt, what's it all worth? 45,000 Egyptian pounds a month? Is that too much? Is that too little? Take also into consideration, back in January he said he would donate half of that to the betterment of the economy.

In his famous Arabic song, Salah Jaheen wrote that girls are equal to boys. However, I claim now that girls are much better than boys.Boys in our society drop their classes and escape his school in order to play play station, football or smoke cannabis with his friends? Many boys are involved in sexual harassment in Egyptian streets and are but couch potato in their homes. Moreover, many of them fail in school and fail to be reliable in their homes as well.

Economic Conference in Sharm El Sheikh was a great challenge for the Egyptians, but came also as savior to our country. Our enemies were hoping that it will render great failure, but the conference achieved great success that exceeded all expectations. Huge multitudes attended the conference that was well-secured and organized proving that Egypt has restored its power and important role in the region.

The extremists in Egypt are working hard to turn Egypt into a religious Wahhabi state with the help of the Egyptian security forces, which stretched their hands to them in order to prevent building churches and turn the existing ones into mosques. Therefore, they ordered that the church of Samalout won't be allowed to be rebuilt in case of demolition for any reason. This was one of their conditions to allow building the church. The Mufti of the Saudi Arabia Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh days ago, in which he has ordered that all churches in the Arabian Peninsula should be demolished.

I watched the interview of Governor of Alexandria with Mona El-Shazly which introduced a pretty unique Egyptian model of governors and men to me. Mr. Hani Meseiri belongs to a great family and proves he appreciates his wife unlike many men in our society. He also appreciates his work and does his best to make great results. He may have been mistaken to allow his wife to interfere in his work this way, and also mistaken to give excuse to such participation. However, he took the right decision to invite his opponents to build Alexandria together and achieve good results.

As I write this article, the third and final day of the economic conference hosted at Sharm El-Sheikh is on. I can not write and follow the latest news so my comments mostly are on my prior days’ observations. Fears turned to JOY Over the years for some unknown reason to me Friday the 13th means BAD LUCK, I recall a full series of movies long time ago by the same name “Friday the 13th” I saw them all over and over again on Halloween times TV would broadcast them over and over with other scary movies but Friday the 13th was the No. 1 always!
