The final result of the Egyptian presidential election was officially announced on June 3, declaring a landslide victory for Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, who won more than 23 million votes against about one million votes for his rival Hamdeen Sabahi. In fact, those who voted for al-Sisi or Hamdeen were hoping for a president who can achieve their goals and solve their so many problems.
The poor citizens who own nothing have always said that they only have their dignity. Yet, suddenly the expression “honorable citizen” came on the surface to compete with the only thing left for those poor people. I have been searching about the difference between an honorable citizen and another one whom we shall not call honorable. I only found few differences! The honorable citizen is always worried and enjoy his expensive furniture while watching his expensive television.
After living in two continents, the first where I was born and raised, and the second where I worked and succeeded. In Africa I grew up, and moved to Europe to work. In fact, I had only left Egypt physically, as my heart couldn't move away. I swear I thought about Egypt each single day hoping she will be better and get speedy recovery. Spontaneously I compared between the two civilizations in Egypt and Europe which makes Egypt looks very bad. However, I still believe the Egyptians have the ability to change and improve.
Today and finally I’m free from the obligation I had to respect which was simply being neutral between two candidates and hide my intentions and inner feelings as much as possible. I’m not sure if I did succeed but I had to advise people direct them to the proper free decision without pointing to any directions. Your decision can never be free if I tell you this is the right decision, pointing to a decision!
We are now celebrating our newly elected President, Sisi. As Egyptians, this is a time which represents progress, and a step in the right direction. We have face troubles since the time of Mubarak, to Morsi. This is really is our time to move forward as a country, as a democratic country.
The presidential election is over and al-Sisi has become the new president. However, I believe he will face great challenges and there is not time to waste. All people have to work and work in order to salvage the bad situation. The “To do” list is huge and includes: economy, security, food, education, health, housing, transportation, and etc. On top of that we will find the religious discourse. Egyptian people are religious by nature and always turn to God asking for help in such difficult circumstances. Yet some people trade on religion and deceive the needy Egyptian people making use of their needs.
In 1974, Monday magazine said that the government of Nokrashy Basha at that time prefers to be a secret government. Nokrashy Basha himself said that the prime minister doesn’t have to announce all his planes. Therefore, Field Marshal al-Sisi prefers to follow such policy in hiding some of your planes. This should have something to do with him working in intelligence for years.
The Egyptian army responded to the desire of the people, and carried out a unique operation by liberating Egypt from the terrorist group. This group continued harming Egypt by defaming her all over the world, which was used by many countries aiming to destroy Egypt and make the revolution of June 30 look like a military coup. European people who suffered greatly from the scourge of war, especially under the Second World War and the Nazist, and now are only thinking of improving standards of living and renouncing abuse of the others. For thirty years, I was watching the European people changing and improving their way of thinking.
Well, you have the right not to believe in astronomy and wizard's ability to prophesize, but you should respect those who do believe. In fact, many presidents all over the world believe in astronomy and its power to bring good and prevent evil. Obama hasn’t met with Morsy believing he is jinx, and a wizard told Mubarak in 1974 that he won’t retire soon and he has a long way to go. Soon Mubarak survived many assassination attempts.
This article will be available on May 26th. The first day of presidential election most likely will read it afar you had voted or boycotted presidential elections but there would be a second chance the following day the very LAST DAY!
By chance while I was in the metro I met a christian man who is originally from Minia, from the village that Mulsim Brotherhood burned their churches and their homes. The man called Samy, he has been forced to leave his village because of the threats. His home burned and all his properties destroyed. He moved now and all his relative to “ Ezzbet AL Nakhl”.
In the midst of preparing for the presidential election in Egypt, many friends asked me what I would like the next president to achieve concerning the culture in Egypt. In most cases, I answered writers should not be imprisoned anymore for their books and articles as this has become so shameful. Furthermore, all forms of controlling creativity and thought should be no more. I also said that books should by subsidized in order to encourage reading.
I have many reasons not to vote for Hamdeen Sabahi in the upcoming presidential elections. The first reason is that Sabahi is very similar to the ousted president Mohamed Morsy as both of them are liars who belong to Hamas more than they do to Egypt. Additionally, as Morsy was manipulated by the Muslim Brotherhood, Sabahi will be moved by the youth.
Naguib Mahfouz, Nobel winner Egyptian writer, said in his great novel "Awlad Haritna" that the elite are Egypt's great calamity. This diagnosis explains our great problem all over Egypt. This includes journalists, military analysts, doctors, engineers and artists. This elite always manipulates the mind of the Egyptians making use of their weak memory.
This is the real role of the Copts in the elections and in their homeland, Egypt. They always feel happy for the bridegroom, but they never are the bridegroom. Since the days of Mubarak, the Copts choose to vote for Mubarak that he might appreciate them or allow them to build churches. They chose to act like a poor servant though they are the origin of the house! During the elections, many people volunteer to show the Copts their love, and peace that all religions support. However, such nice emotions happen to disappear once the wedding is over, I mean the elections!
In the near past I wrote articles about today's young revolutionary in Egypt the 25th January 2011 ones or all other new generations who reject all and any solution, I was furious from the disrespect of some of them to the elderly who try to discuss with them trying to make them reason to the sound of wisdom; I was wrong and emotional aggressive more than discussing the issue!
During the presidential election specifically after the first day of the election and once the leader of the salafists found the voting was few, they started to accuse Sisi that he is close to the ex NDB memeber and that’s why the voting was weak in the first day.
If Hamdeen Sabahi wins the upcoming presidential elections on May 26-27, 2014, will he fulfill his promises towards the Muslim Brotherhood to empower them to return to the political scene and gradually restore power in Egypt? I guess he won’t as many indications point out that Sabahi won’t get more than 15% of the total votes. Knowing they won’t have place in the political scene under the regime of al-Sisi, the Muslim Brotherhood finds Hamdeen Sabahi a much better option, and therefore they may decide to support him.
In the context of the Zionist huge plan to hit the Arab and Islamic world, led by Egypt, since the disaster of 9/11, the Muslim Brotherhood has carried out the plan aiming to divide Egypt through inciting great strife between Egypt's Copts and Muslims. The plan started by kidnapping, forced displacement and killing of the Copts. Those fanatics have issued fatwas allowing looting and destroying properties of the Copts. Furthermore, 84 Coptic churches and 11 monasteries were destroyed, most of which are priceless.
Presidential candidate, Abdul Fatah al-Sisi, recited what happened between him and Khairat Shater, prominint leader of the Muslim Brotherhood who was the real prsident of Egypt at the time of Mohamed Morsy. Shater, who’s currently in prison pending investigations in serous accusations, threatened al-Sisi by hundreds of fighters and jihadists from all over the world who were going to fight the Egyptian army in case Morsy is overthrown! However, Shater’s daughter defended her father saying he is but a brave patriot man who decided not to escape from Egypt upon the revolution of June 30.
