In 2018, there were several Egyptians who specialized in hope making. On e of them is Mahmoud Wahid, president of Together to Save a Man institution. He said that he started this charity after he saw an old homeless man and decided with a group of his friends to help homeless people. Wahid explained that their facebook page is where people tell them about new homeless people in several governorates. The man calls the Egyptian president to afford accommodation for homeless people as their numbers are increasing. He also promised to spend the money he won on new places for the homeless.

Dear Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, pardon me for disagreeing with you in what you said on June 3rd in a television interview. Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb said that Christians failed to apply the Christian teaching to love their enemies and bless them. In December 2014, you said that generalization is a great mistake and now you do commit to this mistake since some Christians follow this teaching and others don t.

The Lord Jesus has risen from the dead and no one has risen like him. His resurrection was unique and had unprecedented features. Jesus Christ entered Egypt two thousand years ago fleeing from oppression. Egypt was a safe place to visit. Thus, he did not flee to a city of Judea or Galilee. When the people of Israel came out of Egypt, their hearts were attached to Egypt and many times did they think about returning to Egypt. Furthermore, history mentions that opponents of the kings of Israel used to flee to Egypt. At that time, Jesus was a child accompanied by his family and stayed there for nearly three and a half years. During the visit he visited many places and performed a lot of miracles. Egyptians did not believe then in a divine religion, but were pagan. Yet, they welcomed him and treated him well unlike fanatics nowadays whom persecute Christians in Egypt.

Long time ago I have read that advice from one of the saint that say “ I regretted for talking so much, however, I never regretted for being silent. I always was trying to be so much careful and try to not say anything might even hurt anyone in my talk. Having said that, I have experienced lately saying something that hurt a colleague of my mine and once that happened I remembered the above say. Sometimes when you talk you don’t recognize that something might hurt someone even if you didn’t do that in purpose. That situation taught me that even you are very careful, you still can do many mistakes. In fact, Once I felt that I hurt my colleague, I went so quickly and I apologized and I have mentioned that I didn’t mean what I said, my colleague accepted my apology so quickly and even mentioned that he doesn’t think that I have said something wrong. In conclusion, I want to say that you can’t guarantee hindered percent that you will never say something could upset someone, however, you can guarantee to say “ sorry” when you fell you are mistaken.

As several churches are targeted by fanatics, Christian houses that contain churches as well are targeted to the church in your house (Philemon 1). Many Coptic Christian women are disappearing and after a little while they are declared newly converted Muslims. Thus, many people are talking about Islamization gangs of Christian girls and women. Such talk is not new, but what can such gangs benefit from what they do? First of all, they are expecting huge heavenly reward in Paradise according to their beliefs. Moreover, such reward is accompanied by a lot of money as a reward for their excellent job.

I am a big fan of Real Madrid football team and this love story began 45 years ago. Since our beloved newspaper Watani cares a lot about political party reform in Egypt and was named among our major concerns, we held a meeting with representatives of political parties to discuss their problems and future. The most recent editorial was published on 22 April 2018 under the title: “Time for Party reform”. It will also be the theme of a series of sessions of Watani Forum, the first of which was held some two weeks ago. The forum will be hosting representatives of Egypt s political parties with the aim of exploring the current party scene and figuring out the measures and moves needed to reform it in order to boast robust, effective parties in the future.

On the occasion of our church s celebration of the half-century anniversary of the apparition of our lady on the domes of her church in Zeitoun. Some Coptic leaders made statements to provoke other dominations in an unacceptable absence of the spirit of love according to the teachings of the Bible. Therefore, I present this form of love proclaimed by a Japanese philosopher more than a century ago. He said: Unless love is rooted in the soul of human being, it cannot understand God s love…love knows all including sadness, laughter, tolerance, work, hunger, accepting danger, respect. It knows almost everything. Love accepts suffering and pain and can make wonders. Thus, it is able to do everything.

Recently, the Minister of Transportation announced that there will be an increase in the price of Metro tickets. The new pricing structure is between 3 and 7 pounds depending on how many stations the passenger takes. Generally speaking, any increase in public transportation fees is normal. However, there are rules for these increases to take place. Last year, the Government also put through an increase on ticket prices to be 2 pounds instead of 1.

It was a nice coincidence that couple of days after I decided to pay respect to donkeys that the whole world decided to do the same thing by celebrating a world day for donkeys. This is the first time I hear about this celebration. World Donkey Day celebrations were held for the first time in Egypt on May 8th, 2017 where many people starting to call for decent treatment for such nice animals.
