At the gates of the Presidential Palace, Egyptians discovered that the Muslim Brotherhood is not a religious group, but a violent gang similar to Mafia. Egyptians knew that MB does nothing but trading on religion in order to seize power and control the people as well as the country's resources.
After the massacre of the presidential palace, Morsy has lost a lot of his legitimacy before many Egyptian citizens. He's become in a very serious situation that doesn't allow him to make important political and economical decisions. He's became like caretaker governments, and he has to get rid of his counselors who led him to such situation. Furthermore, the continual muzzle put on the media in the name of cleansing it will make the President lose more and more.
President Morsy reminds me of a story about a train driver who suddenly decided not to stop at any station till the last stop. Passengers were beseeching him to stop, but he strongly refused. While he was totally busy insulting the passengers and receiving their insults, he couldn’t see he was approaching the end. So, he couldn’t reduce his speed and crushed at the end killing himself along with many other innocent people.
Mohammed Morsy and his Muslim Brotherhood group have failed to govern Egypt, and successfully accomplished the American and Israeli assignment to: hand Sinai over to the Zionists of Hamas, weaken the Egyptian armed forces that was the tenth in the world rankings, divide Egypt and converting it to a mini-state within the imagined caliphate, destroy the Constitution and the law, and destroy the Egyptian economy.
The Egyptian grounds are a real turmoil people die and people are being kidnapped just to please a dictator who become blind and deaf! Since the dictatorship announcement 2 weeks ago and Egypt is unrest and a unified opposition had been formed lots of people followed and they proved gutless!
We know that “For every action there is a reaction that's equal in amount and opposite in direction”. However, the actions of the Egyptian president is contrary to all accepted democratic rules! Millions of Egyptians are demonstrating against the “Constitutional Declaration”, but the president has no comment as if he can't see them at all. They cry out demanding the cancelation of his “Constitutional Declaration”, and accuse the Muslim Brotherhood of acting the same as the former regime. Yet, the President doesn't listen to them.
I congratulate Muslim Brotherhood's Assembly as they've completed their job successfully achieving their goal to distort the identity of Egypt and destroy its pluralism and diversity, which the Egyptian society is characterized by against other Middle Eastern societies.
Coptic Christians living in Egypt face the challenge of the complete absence of any political representation in any effective and meaningful way at every level in the Egyptian Political System. This lack of adequate representation ranges from the local level and City Councils, all the way up to and including the Parliament in both the Senate and the House of Representatives, and of course the Ministerial Seats.
First of all, I'd like to thank all people who have supported me against the fascist tyranny of the Islamic rule in Egypt, especially Mr. Mounir Bishay, Eng. Sherif Mansour, Mr. Oliver, Mr. William Wissa, sister Ghada Malak, Dr. Awad Shafik, Copts United team led by Eng. Ezzat Polous, and of course Dr. Hany Shenouda, my dear brother who is worried for my life more than myself.
This is my overdue article written 3 weeks ago revised as events in Egypt develop in an incredible way and too fast, initially was a reading between the lines about the confusion in the Egyptian streets and an analysis justifying some deeds of the Military Council (MC), and sayings of the ex-president Husny Mubarak.
GENEVA (30 November 2012) – The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay has urged the President of Egypt, Mohamed Morsi, to reconsider the Constitutional Declaration issued last week, saying a number of measures contained in it are incompatible with international human rights law. She further warned that approving a constitution in these circumstances could be a deeply divisive move.
As we approach the celebration of the third departure anniversary for Eng. adly Abadir, Egypt is in a bad need to do something to strengthen the relationships of love and respect among all Egyptians who should understand that blood of the Copts is not priceless. Copts are only demanding their basic rights, such as equality. However, Islamists are destroying Egypt through their fanaticism and forcing Coptic minor girls into Islam supported by all state institutions! All this, according to Egn. Adly Abadir, is a result of the Wahabi finances. Things are getting worse, and Copts face death every now and then; once while praying, and another they are simply exploded while celebrating a feast.
No one could imagine that the Egyptians would come out calling President Morsy to step down after only 5 months since President Morsy came in power. Yesterday, Tahrir Square was full of people like it wasn't since the revolution of January 25.
On November 9th, 2012, some political Islamic groups led a protest in Tahrir square which they called” the Friday of enforcement of Sharia”, I am not to discuss the legitimacy of the demands of these groups who conducted the protest.
January 25 is a fake revolution, as its revolutionists have disappeared. It’s a fake one as Morsy and his Muslim Brotherhood escaped from the jail to be the governors of Egypt forming the new dictatorship, while the real revolutionists are kept in jail!
I've lived under Mubarak's regime and experienced his fake democracy. However, we enjoyed a better situation comparing to the dictatorship of the current regime. Current regime claim to support freedom and care for the revolution and its demands, but it only carries retardation and trade on religion.
Once again I find myself in the obligation to write a new article and postpone my 2 weeks old article about the confusion in the streets of Egypt; I promise to post it next week hopefully but for now I have to talk about the dictatorship in its ugliest ever states.
Coptic Orthodox Church was led during the transitional period by the Abba Pachomius, the Acting Patriarch, till His Holiness Pope Tawadros was enthroned as the 118th Pope carrying the number 118. To me, Celebrating the mass as well as the official enthronement were like a journey to heaven or like living the first days of the Church when “They all joined together constantly in prayer”. Abba Pachomius could take his people to heaven through his humbleness, love and self-denial.
I remember the day Morsy was announced as the Egyptian president. I cried bitterly just like I did when my father died. For me, it was announcing the end of many beautiful things in Egypt, and the start of new dark days or sophistry stage for ignorance and blood, in which a group of corrupters trade on religion and hide behind it.
It is normal and logical that the President of a state puts the people of his country as top priority in his agenda, giving them the greatest concern. Doing this, he can try to help or sympathize with people of other countries who are suffering somehow. However, Islamists have another point of view that you can understand upon looking closely at the reaction of the President after two great events or incidents: First, the attack on Gaza in Palestine, which is not governed by President Morsy as it has its own elected President. Second, the terrible accident in Assiut, Egypt, in which more than 50 children were killed because of negligence and empty talk of the Islamists who brought only retardation to Egypt. Our President had a very strong reaction concerning the people of Gaza, but not of his people in Egypt.
We're shocked and all our dreams are turned out to nightmares after the death of many school students under the wheels of the train of Assiut. It's no longer enough to condemn or deplore. What happens in Egypt now? We feel that our lives are threatened in every single moment. Before that, our children were murdered in a soccer game while holding the Egyptian flag. Then, they were killed in a school bus holding their books! What kind of negligence is that? Till when no official will be judged for his neglect? Till when our souls will be threatened all the time along with our children, brothers, sisters and friends. Till when our souls will be priceless?
