Nigeria’s Ohawuchi joins Zamalek on loan
Former Nigeria U20 international striker Stanley Ohawuchi has joined Egyptian giants Zamalek on a season-long loan deal from Wadi Degla, according to football 411.

The 26-year-old joined Wadi Degla from Maltese outfit Sliema Wanderers in 2014 and went on to make 53 appearances during a two-year spell at the 30 June Stadium, bagging 27 goals in the process.

Zamalek have agreed a loan fee of $500,000, with the player set to pocket a total of $400,000 in wages for the year.

The Whites have the option to make Ohawuchi’s stay permanent at the end of the loan spell for a fee of $1.5 million.

The announcement of the deal brings an end to the fevered speculation over the future of Ohawuchi, who was also a reported target for Saudi Premier League club Ittihad Jeddah and Egypt’s Al Ahly.
