Middle East Council of Churches denounced converting the Hagia Sophia Church to a mosque and described the decision as attacking on freedom of religions.
The council invited the United Nations and the League of Arab States to reject the decision that contradicts with the historic declaration of fraternity, calling for peace between nations, religions and races signed on February 4, 2019.
