Sheikh Sheikh Mohammed Abdel-Maksoud said that Copts are infidels who will go to hell even if they die defending legitimacy of the Islamic regime.
For his part, Mohammed Shahat, member of the Islamic research Academy, condemn this fatwa saying that the Copts believe in God and our brothers in religion and the homeland.
