After they suffered for years to rebuild a new church, Copts celebrated the first holy mass at the new church of St. Mary and St. Abanoub in Koum Loufy.
Copts expressed their happiness to pray in the new church though it is not finished yet.
The village had witnessed sectarian incidents during which several Coptic houses were set on fire in order to prevent building the church.
