Administrative court prevents Parliament from drafting the constitution

The Administrative Court of the State Council has decided to prevent the parliament from forming the committee to draft the new constitution. Khalid Ali, a likely candidate for the presidency wrote on his page on Twitter: “We Win!” Hundreds of people at the doors of the court were so happy to receive such judgment.

MP Dr. Emad Gad said that this ruling supports the view of civilian powers against MB and Salafis. He demanded putting standards to choose the committee to draft the new constitution which should not include more than 25 % of the Parliament members including all its elements.

However the Parliament has the right to appeal the ruling, Gad think they wouldn’t do that.
