Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, said in his weekly sermon that he called President Mohamed Morsy to congratulate him on releasing the kidnapped soldiers.
He added that he is travelling to Austria for 10 days in a pastoral care trip.
Tawadros said that Abba Matthias I, Patriarch of Ethiopia, will visit Cairo on June 19.
