Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark See, is going to receive the Armenian Ambassador in Cairo, and Krikor Augustine, Bishop of the Armenian Catholics, at St. Bishoy's monastery in Wadi Natrun next Wednesday.
Sources said that this visit comes to support relationships between the two Churches and to get reassured about Pope's health.
It is worth mentioning that the Pope has been in retreat for five weeks and his life was threatened publicly by some Islamists.
