A conscript shot dead a policeman after the later threatened to punish him by cutting his monthly leave, Youm7 reported.
Both belong to the Special Forces department and were serving in Cairo’s Garden City district when the shooting occurred.
Verbal altercation is believed to have stirred the debate after the victim insulted Conscript Radwan Wanees who grapped his gun and shot the Policeman Osama Abdeen, according to Youm7.
Policeman Sherif Mohamed, who was standing near the shooting, was reportedly injured in his left leg and taken to the hospital for treatment.
