President Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi met with the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of the fourth Africa-Arab Summit in Malabo on Wednesday, said Egyptian Presidential Spokesperson Alaa Youssef in a statement.
Both leaders tackled the bilateral and international issues of common interest, particularly Syrian and Yemeni crises.
“The President commended Kuwait’s efforts to help reach political settlements to ongoing crises in the Arab world and valued Kuwait’s hosting of Yemen’s peace negotiations and of meetings aimed at providing humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people,” the statement read.
