Fatwa House praised the initiative of Council of Islamic Schools in North America to confront Islamophobia, in which it invited Islamic schools in America to visit nearby schools and tell them about moderate Islam and Muslims.
80 Islamic schools have joined the initiative after a study showed that people who have met with Muslims believe they don’t support extremism more than those who didn’t meet with Muslims.
